Koeppen, Wynola #2 (14 APR 1962)
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Vrana are on a two weeks’ wedding trip to Arizona and on their return will make their home in Colby.
The marriage of Miss Wynola Rita Koeppen of Colby and Jerry Vrana of Abbotsford took place Saturday, April 14, 1962 in the parsonage of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorchester. Vows were repeated at 7 o’clock with Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. James Vrana of Abbotsford and Mrs. Frieda Koeppen of Colby are the parents of the couple.
Attending them were Mrs. Wesley Frome of Colby and James Vrana Jr. of Rochester, Ind., a sister and brother of the bridal couple.
For her wedding, the bride selected a white wool suit and a pink flowered hat. She had an orchid shoulder corsage.
Her matron of honor wore a black and white taffeta frock with a black faille redingote accented by a corsage of red roses and white carnations. She wore a white hat.
Corsages worn by the mothers of the couple were made of pink carnations.
After the ceremony, a wedding supper attended by about 50 guests was served at the home of the bride’s mother.
The bride is employed as a secretary at the Security State Bank at Colby, and the groom is employed at Mid-State TV Service at Abbotsford.
